About Diego
Curiosity became a way of building.
I am a software engineer from Durango, Mexico. I enjoy problems that force me to learn something new, especially when software can replace a slow or fragmented process with a system that is easier to operate and evolve.

I originally planned to study law. In 2021, during my second semester of high school, an informatics class asked me to write my name using a block-based programming platform. That small exercise changed my direction: I wanted to understand how software was created.
I started with HTML landing pages, blogs and small C++ algorithms. After an English-only academic term in 2023, I built my first complete university project in 2024: a basic point-of-sale system in Python using Tkinter and object-oriented programming.
Since then, every major project has represented the best system I knew how to build at that moment. CONCORA, Durania, Vexa, Eter, RootSense and Nexo IA each forced me to learn a new domain, architecture or way of collaborating.
I believe I can learn what I do not know. I also believe growth is not an individual competition. Sharing knowledge and helping others improve has become part of how I approach technical leadership.
- Discovered programming through a block-based class exercise.
- Completed an English-only academic term.
- Built my first complete university application in Python and participated in HackMTY.
- Returned to HackMTY and started working at CONCORA.
- Completed my technical degree; architected Durania, led Vexa, started Eter, worked on RootSense and built the initial Nexo IA architecture.
Working principles
- 01Learn what the problem requires.
- 02Do not confuse confidence with knowing everything.
- 03Share knowledge with the team.
- 04Document decisions.
- 05Build the best version possible with the information available.
- 06Review the result and improve the process next time.
